My Anniversary

March 31, 2016

Hi Everyone,

Today is Sheldon and my 26th Wedding Anniversary!

As I remember back to the very day , I could barely sleep the night before because I knew when I woke up ; it would be our wedding day! I was too excited to sleep.

I was only 19 years old, I had moved here from Macon Georgia. I lived in Sheldons parents basement for a month before we got married.

My dress was hanging up all ready to be gotten into and I had all my makeup, hair stuff on the vanity next to the mirror. My mother had paid for my dress. It wasn’t a new dress because we could not afford a brand new dress. I didn’t care- I grew up with hand me downs and used clothes. It fit me like a T. I was a little lady at 92 pounds and was worried I wouldn’t be able to find a dress that fit me.

The morning of my wedding; I got up , got ready and had a nice lady from Sheldons church come and do my hair. ( Thanks Sheri- you did a great job!)

My brides maids I got to know when I visited Sheldon during our long distance relationship. I would come up to Ontario every now and than ; and Sheldon would visit me in GA every 3 months. Sheldons groomsmen were friends of his and their wives were my bridesmaids.

We called each other and talked on the phone at least once a week. Actually, Sheldon would call me every Sunday. I wrote him love letters by the week! I’m sure his mom thought I was a nut job because sometimes the Post would put 2 or 3 letters some days in the mailbox; because of the backlog I guess. ?

The day we got married was a little on the cold side. Our wedding was at 2:30pm and my bridesmaids thought it was funny to make me a little late to my own wedding.:) thanks girls…me, being right on time or usually early to every thing I go too– kept asking them ” Are you sure its okay to be late?”…

It was a beautiful wedding; Sheldons dad married us and we had our neice read 1 Corinthians 13 about LOVE. ( Thanks Kristi)  We had  some nice singing specifically dedicated and written for us. ( Thanks Duane G).  I didn’t know a lot of the people in the audience. I looked back at the video that a kind man( thanks Duane) from their church did for us , and I know who the people are now but the day, I was wondering ,” Where did all these people come fro

There were tons of pictures that were taken, there was a lot of food eaten. It was a great day!

Thanks to Sheldons family who did most of the work . From decorating and organizing stuff.

Thanks Sheldon for picking me to be your wife. We have had some wonderful times, special times, times where we laughed so hard I thought I was going to pee my pants, times of sadness- times of surprises…times of joy.

I look forward to so much more .

I love our relationship with GOD. We always put him first and trust in Him to take care of us. I love your relationship with Jesus.

Thank you for teaching me so much.

love , Judy

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

He IS Risen! Indeed

Hello Everyone,

I have been praying and thanking Jesus for dying on the cross for me this past few weeks. I am so greatful to Him for this. By His stripes we are healed, by His strips we are forgiven, by His stripes we are able to reign with him in Eternity forever! How can I not be thankful!?

Have you been thinking about Jesus a lot this past week? Have you thanked Him?

I was watching ” The Passion of the Christ” yesterday with Sheldon and I have only seen it twice before. It sure is graphic but I bet it was even more gruesome than that. Jesus had to go through so much, and I bet He would do it again for you .

Thank you Jesus Christ of Nazereth for all you have done for us, so we could live forever with you in Heaven, so we could be forgiven, so we could forgive others in love.

Happy Easter everyone! Blessing on you this weekend.

Hello All,

We took a mini holiday to Montreal Quebec over the weekend and saw a few attractions and sights. We went to The Royal Mint as well as Notre Dame Basilica and Old Montreal.

In the pictures abouve, I am holding a gold bar worth a lot . I don’t remember if it was a few million or half a million dollars worth but hey- I wanted to see what it felt like. It was HEAVY.

The trip was good except for the fact that:

I actually got sick there; must have had something that didn’t agree with my body. I think it was food poisoning. It was not a pretty scene!

I am feeling much better 2 days later and am thankful for our mini family holiday. Thanking the Lord for being with us and keeping us safe.

Be greatful for today and the things the Lord is teaching to you today,

Hi Everyone,

As I write this , it is a nice 12 Celcius out side. I have my windows open and I hear the birds singing. I love Spring! it is probably my most favorite season.

I am reminded that the birds are singing to Jesus and that everything is alive outside. There is new growth , new buds and blades of grass. That can be spiritual too. Have you been feeling like this is a new season in your life? Your spiritual life?, that God has new stuff for you ?. I do .

Be reminded of His incredible love He has for you today. Enjoy talking to Him today as you go outside and walk around , breathe in the air , thank Him for all He has done for you and will do for you today!

Be blessed, I already have been just by opening my windows.
